Jack Wood

Nymphaea “Jack Wood” Day blooming non-viviparous. Bred by Wood in 1972. The Flowers are very fragrant and stand above the water surface. The color is a dark pink with a touch of red. The flower will tolerate shade especially in hotter climates.

Small to Medium

Will survive over winter in zones 9 to 11. You can grow a Jack Wood in a one, two, or three gallon container. Good for earthen ponds as well. Will grow in water 6” inches up to 18” inches

Single blooms of up to 4” to 5” inches across.

Leaves 4” to 7” wide.

Full Spread is 2.5’ to 5’ wide.

Wanvisa

Wanvisa is peach, pink, orangish color with whitish freckles on the petals; the leaves are green and burgundy color some times the leaf is half, and half on those colors. A Wanvisa will grow great in and size water garden or container if potting should be in 1-gallon size pot or larger. Needs Full to partial sun.

Any size water garden or large container smells beautiful free flowering.

Will survive in zones 3 to 11. You can grow a Wanvisa in a two to a five-gallon container. Suitable for earthen ponds as well. Will grow in water 18” inches to 24” inches.

Blooms of up to 4” to 10” inches across.

Full Spread is 3’ to 6’ wide.

Red Flare - Night Bloomer

Nymphaea “Red Flare” Night blooming non-viviparous. Bred by Randig 1938. A must for medium to large ponds. The Red Flare will start blooming at 8 pm till about 11 am. The flowers are slightly fragrant and stand well above the water's surface.

Large Plant size.

Will survive over winter in zones 9 to 11. This Night Bloomer can grow in a two or three-gallon container. Good for earthen ponds as well. This plant has the potential to grow very large.

Single blooms of up to 5” to 10” inches across.

Leaves are brownish-green in color and spread 6” to 14” wide.

The full Spread is 4’ to 11’
