Jack Wood
Nymphaea “Jack Wood” Day blooming non-viviparous. Bred by Wood in 1972. The Flowers are very fragrant and stand above the water surface. The color is a dark pink with a touch of red. The flower will tolerate shade especially in hotter climates.
Small to Medium
Will survive over winter in zones 9 to 11. You can grow a Jack Wood in a one, two, or three gallon container. Good for earthen ponds as well. Will grow in water 6” inches up to 18” inches
Single blooms of up to 4” to 5” inches across.
Leaves 4” to 7” wide.
Full Spread is 2.5’ to 5’ wide.
