Are Water Lilies hard to grow?

NO! They are not hard to grow. Just keep them fertilized when its time and you will get bigger prettier plants and more blooms if fertilized correctly

What to do over the Winter months

Leave them just as they are, and in the springtime, you will dump all old dirt, wash up the plant, separate them to make more, if possible, and then replant. don't fertilize in their dormant stage. you won’t need to fertilize till they leaf up in the spring after being replanted.

I’m waiting to plant my lilies. How long can I wait?

If you can not plant the day you receive your order. Take the plants out of the packaging and place them in water. They will survive up to 1 week like this. If this is not an option, then keep them in the refrigerator. They can survive only 1 to 2 days at the most like this before they start to rot.

How often do I need to fertilize?

You must be fertilizing every 6 to 8 weeks until they go dormant. Place a fertilizer tab next to the root, and push in the length of your index finger.

How do I plant my lilies?

  1. Choose your size container

    1. Fill with soil (dirt/clay mixture) - not potting soil.

    2. Pack the dirt tightly

  2. Dig a hole right in the center of the container. Dig deep enough to pass the root system up by about a 1/4 inch.

  3. Place the plant inside the hole and pack the dirt tightly.

  4. Lastly, place it in your pond or container full of water.

How do you ship my lilies?

We use USPS priority mail for 2 to 3-day shipping. We usually ship Monday to Wednesday, so packages are not held up over the weekend. We take great pride in growing, picking, packaging, and shipping. We pick up your order the same day we ship it to ensure they have the best chance of growing in their new home.
